Mardi Gras is a no go in New Orleans this year but it didn’t stop us from celebrating Fat Tuesday with some Cajun cookin’ and hurricane cocktails. #Atriatogether

Gin with a twist of jazz is our happy hour this week. We enjoyed some greyhound cocktails and gin and tonics

The anticipation of Halloween

We brought Phantom of the Opera to our residents as a Halloween special. The residents got a kick out of the Engage Life Director impromptly dancing and acting out the character of Christine. Fun!

We offered spooktacular cocktails with mummy appetizers which were thoroughly enjoyed. Yet somehow our community sloth, not the witches and spiders, was the big hit and became our new mascot! #Atriatogetherandsafe #spooktaculartimes

We did a Flashback to the 50’s on roller skates!

Despite summer like weather, we officially welcomed the fall season by sipping on spiced rum apple cider and indulging in delicious corn muffins with cinnamon butter and apple slices with carmel dip.#AtriaTogether

Big thanks and appreciation to several of our home care and hospice agencies who treated us to a taste of Hawaii. The shaved ice was awesome!

Something pumpkin was the theme of the day where we sampled pumpkin doughnuts, cupcakes and cheese cake bars. We also made some pumpkins out of wine corks and realized there’s a lot of artistic talent around us.

We indulged in Chocolate Hazelnut Frappuccinos and Coffee with Kahlua at our Don’t worry be frappe! Coffee Bar experience. The super chunk brownies and pastries were also a big hit! #dontworrybefrappe#atrialafayette lovescoffee
