Due to the current Santa Clara County restrictions on large gatherings and the uncertain future of large events, Monarch Fest will not take place this year. We will continue to monitor the situation and will communicate any future reunion planning with classes directly.
Let's give thanks for our blessings this holiday season. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Thank you to Concerned Mitty alumni for meeting with administrators this morning to discuss how we can better serve the needs of our Black students and all students of color. We are committed to this journey toward building a climate grounded in equity and belonging. We will continue to communicate our efforts as we forge ahead.

This moment is both devastating and a call to action for our entire community: https://go.aws/2XTBYvN.
The first step in this process is to listen, and that is what we intend to do: https://go.aws/3cBXb1g.
As a Catholic school that strives to foster a commitment to justice, Archbishop Mitty challenges its students and alumni to recognize that Racism is not a thing of the past or simply a throwaway political issue to be bandied about when convenient. It is a real and present danger that must be met head on. Read Mr. Brosnan's full message to the Mitty community here: mitty.com.
We want to say thank you to those who are helping people in need during this pandemic, including all of the health care professionals on the front lines. This week we want to highlight and thank Archbishop Mitty alum Shea Williams (‘09). Shea works as an ICU nurse at UCSF. Through the collaboration with an organization called HEAL (Health Equity and Leadership), she was offered the opportunity to deploy to Navajo Nation where there has been a significant outbreak in COVID-19. As a sophomore at Mitty Shea had traveled to Navajo Nation on an immersion trip and her work with the Navajo people had a lasting impact, so she jumped at the opportunity to return. Williams is currently working at Gallup Indian Medical Center in the Emergency Department. To read more about Shea’s experience log into Mitty Alumni Connect!
