Aloha , I am ending my evening reminiscing about our past Angels of Grace Luau of Love fundraisers. We had scheduled our 10th Annual Angels of Grace Luau of Love fundraiser for today, September 19th, 2020. Unfortunately, we had to cancel it- like so many other individuals have had to cancel their fundraisers and special events. My prayers are for all of us that have had to readjust our lives, because of this world wide coronavirus. We must keep calm and carry on, trus...ting that the Lord will see us through. I am praying for a cure, and that we will be able to enjoy a beautiful 10th annual Angels of Grace Luau of Love fundraiser 2021 next year, and that we will become much more resilient when facing challenges in our lives. I am inspired by the Bible scripture, Proverbs 3:3-6, Trust the Lord with all of your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. and Jeremiah 28:11, For I know the plans I have for you’ declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope, and a future. Yes, my friends, our God is faithful and in control of our world. In the mist of not knowing, we can trust the One who does know. I will fall asleep to the beautiful sounds of the ocean wave, and Hawaian music like the ones our wonderful friends from the Polynesian Club of Fresno entertain us with every year. I absolutely love, appreciate, and miss them deeply. Blessings to them, and to all of our Angels of Grace staff, volunteers, and community partners. They have truly been a blessing every year in making the Angels of Grace Luau of Love fundraiser a HUGE success. Mahalo See more
