How to Get Extensions VSP is offering insurance benefit extensions to patients who cannot get a timely appointment due to the pandemic. Please call VSP at: 800-877-7195 and explain your situation. Per VSP.com, you may also email to VSP.... from VSP: "VSP has established the 'VSP Cares Program' to provide authorization of exam services and eyewear materials from April through August 2021 to commercial members who have not been able to use their benefits in 2020 due to COVID-19 impacts. If you’d like to learn more, please contact us (https://www.vsp.com/contact-us/email-customer-service) and select 'VSP Cares' in the drop-down menu. We will be in touch with more information as it is available." You must call or email before the end of the year.
