J9's Custom Creations

I spent Tuesday and Wednesday running cap orders, Thursday designing vinyl orders, sending out designs to be digitized, ordering supplies, cutting vinyl and running flat items on the embroidery machine. I'm learning there aren't a million hours in a day and there is only one of me. I have been looking into expansion equipment to aid in my turn around times and production. I've also considered growing a team by onboarding a couple of my kiddos to aid in areas where I can p...ass the baton. Here is some break down info.... In doing some research, I found that outsourcing and cutting the little man out were big. Neither of those options am I keen on. I take pride in my work and when you wear a J9's Custom Creation, you know that it was made in house, by J9. The reality is that in most embroidery businesses expressed that they have cut out the small entrepreneurs because they are losing money running their multi-head machines OR they mark up A LOT. I understand that. But, for our community, it is the small business that keeps me striving for better. All of us deserve the opportunity to look professional and rep our logo! My turn around times right now are 3-4 weeks. That gives me anxiety because I want you to get your items ASAP. It isn't me per se, but when my orders are delayed and start arriving, all at once, that means running the machine ALL DAY & NIGHT to get orders out. 1 item at a time. It also doesn't help that I knit pick everything. No pun intended. Knit pick... Really though, you get my best. Here are a couple examples. You may have seen the previous samples posted on the caps. Here is a final run. Clean on the inside, clean on the outside! The other is a full back piece where I ordered it to fit my largest frame but..... I didn't think it was large enough so I adjusted size, edited the design stitch style and went on to run it by hooping it in sections.

On the super busy or super hard days, I am reminded of why I do what I do! A loyal customer left this message for me. "Thanks for always going out of your way. You're the best! And your dedication is seen in your work " Those words came right after I placed my 2nd vinyl order, 2nd apparel order, a large thread/stabilizer order and another cap order of the day!... I am going to grab lunch (yes, barely) and then I'll be sending out embroidery files for digitizing, invoices, and follow up on messages! Good Morning... I had several delayed orders arrive Friday!! Crisscross caps and CC brand crisscross caps for the ladies. I wanted to show the options that I can get. Some of these are spoken for already. (They were ordered for orders) but if you see something that speaks your interest please let me know.
