COVID -19 PROTOCOLS Dear Trusted Clients, We are adapting our protocols to better serve our clients and your pets to keep you safe in this current environment of COVID -19 concerns. ... As a means of promoting and preserving social distancing we are asking our clients to call us from our parking lot, and we will come to the car to pick up your pet. The staff will bring the pets to the treatment area to be assessed. After the doctor has evaluated the pet, the owner’s will then be called by the doctor’s or nurses on duty. We will then make recommendations for the care needed. We will provide an estimate via email and/or over the phone and collect payments over the phone. We understand that many of you may not have a vehicle and we are offering a free pick up at your home if your pet is stable enough to await pick up. Please call the hospital to arrange this. Realistically, we know many of you will still need to physically come in to the hospital. We will continue our diligent and aggressive cleaning protocols with a heightened awareness and care in this pandemic. As stated above, we will be offering pick up services for our clients. This will be somewhat difficult with scheduling, but we will do our absolute best to accommodate anyone who will need the services. We only have 2 vehicles so we will ask our clients to be patient. Please keep in mind that this may not be available to all clients so please call the hospital to inquire. We are the ONLY 24/7 hospital in SF and receive patients the entire twenty-four hours. Initially, we can offer car service during daytime hours from 8 am to 6 pm. We are working quickly to expand this. If the car service is not available please call us from the parking lot and remain in your vehicle. If you arrived at the hospital on foot or in a taxi/UBER/Lyft please respect social distancing as we will respect yours. We will do all we can to keep you safe and meet the needs of your pet. Visitation of hospitalized pets will be strictly arranged on a very limited basis, ideally in off- hours so we can avoid accumulation of clients in the waiting room. We will do all we can to ensure you know your pet’s needs are being met. We will offer to send pictures daily and can arranged video chat times with your pet as well. We appreciate your patience and care. We will continue to improve on our protocols daily. We strive to offer the best care for you and your pet.
