Hurray for Carter! He is in the home of a previous ACT adopter. Mama adopted a Mc puppy about 5 years ago. She wanted to adopt from ACT again because it was a good experience. When this puppy became available, she submitted the first application for him. Carter is now a part of a family with the perfect Mom and big fur sister. They will be great companion for each other. Dandi needs everyone’s help! She needs help finding her happily ever after. She’s a 2 year old Pit Bull who is all love and cuddles. People are her favorite. She’s GREAT in the car and is crate trained. She’s a very quiet girl too. She needs your help because not only is she a Pit Bull but she needs to be an only dog or with another large breed male dog. She LOVES to play with other large male dogs because growing up in her previous home she lived with one. She was surrendere...d to ACT because her owner wasn’t able to care for her anymore, nothing she did. She’s such a love bug and deserves someone who will love her just as much and she’ll love them. She’s about 55 pounds and is full grown. Penny now Chloe (left) found her furever family today. She gets to have an ACT sister too! We love our previous adopters! They adopted Chilla now Zoey abs wanted to add a friend to keep her company. Happy tails.

This Saturday from 11am-2pm I will be doing adoptions at Steve’s Pet Shop in Oakhurst. Dogs will be coming from the rescue I foster with, Animal Compassion Team. I will be doing this the second Saturday of every month and I’ll have a few dogs out there. Our adoption fees are $200 for dogs 5 months and older and $225 for puppies under 5 months. This adoption fee helps to ensure the dogs are going to good quality homes and it covers the dog being fixed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, flea and tick treated, dewormed, and a free vet appointment with the vet our rescue uses. A note from out wonderful foster mom..... Yikes- 35 inquiries and applications for sweet Molly in a 12 hour period. They came all the way from the state of Maine, Massachusetts, Washington, Nevada, and Arizona and all over California. I had the difficult job of selecting a home for her with such great inquiries. People wrote long emails and sent photos to win my heart. I had to choose and now Molly is headed to the central coast to live with her new mama.

Yay! Linus got his second chance at a happily ever after! He’ll be so loved!
