Our friends at Colonial Williamsburg are hosting their 73rd Annual Antiques Forum, February 19-24, 2021. Titled Virtually Unstoppable, the $175 registration fee covers 6 days of virtual lectures and demonstrations covering a wide and numerous array of topics each day of interest to curators, conservators, collectors, scholars, and decorative arts aficionados from across the United States and England. Topics cover an engaging look at ceramics, furniture, metals, paintings, prints, textiles, architecture, and archaeology. But hurry; the registration deadline is February 1, 2021.

Last Saturday, Oct. 10th, the Forum hosted an exhilarating, illustrated presentation on the Regency style and the Regency Revival style by design historian, designer and author, Emily Evans Eerdmans of Eerdmans Fine Art LLC in New York City. You can continue the joyful journey by following Ms Eerdmans on her richly illustrated Instagram account, @eerdmansnewyork or celebrate the upcoming relaunch of her website, http://www.eerdmansfineart.com, which will have a special online exhibition. In addition to the Regency Redux book, Ms Eerdmans is the author of several other notable books, including ones covering Henri Samuel, Madeleine Castaing, Mario Buatta and WendellCastle.
