Greener travel ahead! In partnership with Microsoft we’re reducing the climate impact of air travel by using lower-impact sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) supplied by SkyNRG on the flights Microsoft employees fly most. Together, we hope other companies will seek out similar certified sustainable aviation fuel for their business travel, too. Read more: https://bit.ly/2Hx68z2

Seat dreams are made of this! We believe it's safe to fly in any seat, but we're keeping middle seats blocked on mainline flights through January 6, 2021 to help guests feel comfortable flying again.

Safety is our top priority! Which is why we’re happy to report studies found the chances of getting COVID-19 while flying are virtually nonexistent thanks to HEPA filters and face masks. We compiled expert studies from the DoD, Harvard and IATA to show you all the reasons why it’s safe to fly. Read more on our blog: bit.ly/3meF1I7

We’ve partnered with State of Hawaii-approved COVID-testing providers so you can enjoy the Islands responsibly. On top of the pop-up testing facilities in Seattle, check out Vault Health for mail-in kits before you fly, which is the best option for guests who don't have easy access to an in-person testing facility. I am a CSA in Puerto Vallartafor 3 years in February. I grew up in Seattle and actually was an Alaska MVP. When my husband and I decided to move to Puerto Vallarta, I knew right away I wanted to work at Alaska Airlines. I loved the company so much, and I wanted the opportunity to use both of my languages every day. What makes me happy is the opportunity to help people in English or Spanish to make their travel experience as easy as possible. I am grateful to my Mexican parents for teaching me Spanish while living in the US. And I am grateful to Alaska for the opportunity to help others." Lany, Alaska CSA #HispanicHeritageMonth
