Updated "Shelter in Place" order from the Alameda County Offices Public Health Department (effective 6/8/2020): The updated order allows for small outdoor gathe...rings in "Social Bubbles," for childcare and extracurricular activities to be expanded to all children, and allows certain businesses with limited person-to-person contact to re-open. The face mask order remains in effect and you must continue to wear your face coverings at all times when outside your home (even during physical exercise). A Social Bubble is a group of 12 or fewer people from different households, and the same Social Bubble should be maintained for a minimum of 3 weeks. Participation is limited to one Social Bubble at a time. Members of a Social Bubble are strongly encouraged to comply with social distancing requirements. The #AlamedaCounty Public Health Department will continue to monitor our community's progress in slowing the spread of #COVID_19, and will adjust the Shelter in Place orders as needed. Through our collective efforts, we can continue to meet public health benchmarks that will allow us to move towards reopening. You can find more information on the Alameda County Reopening Plan here: http://acphd.org//alameda-county-covid-19-reopening-plan-e. For a full list of activities that are allowed to resume with the updated order, please click the link below:
