Another wild couple of months here at CBK, we've been tuning and traveling pretty much non-stop and while we always intend to keep the Facebook page updated we ...always seem to have some event or build coming up and don't get around to it (make sure you follow us on IG @calibratedbykarger for more frequent updates)! We are just back from the Shift-S3ctor Pikes Peak half mile race where we brought out Dereks awesome Gen V Viper that the guys at A&C Performance just finished up. This is the real deal, stock motor with a stock computer that lays down over 710RWHP on 91 pump gas normally aspirated. With a 300 shot of nitrous we put down 1005 RWHP. While we unfortunately fought issues with the nitrous solenoid all weekend which ultimately prevented us from getting any full power pulls we still managed to run over 170mph which was good enough for a 2nd place finish in his class. This package sounds and performance amazing, no issues all weekend, tons of passes, no fuel adjustments from sea level to 5500ft+. There is finally a real alternative to the Arrow package that not only makes significantly more power, but also allows customizations for those who want to use nitrous or other power adders now or down the road. The results are in... This viper came to us with a Paxton and a forged shortblock. Everything else has been changed...as we added our C&C ported Gen 4 Heads / Cam package. Enjoy.

Finally finished up our NA package for the Gen 5 Viper. Tuned with HP Tuners on stock computer. Over 150 miles driven in various conditions with no limp mode. The numbers speak for themselves....

Here is a quick video of Steve's Viper down here for a Heads and Cam install. His Viper already has gears, and retained the stock headers which did adjust the numbers from what we are used to seeing...but it came out great and still rips.

Tom sent us his Viper to get running right and making the power it should, among a few other things we did. Left running perfectly, with over 700 rwhp and a safe tune.

Dennis B's Viper from Northern California. He had another Viper shop tune it and seems power was way way down. He decided to get that A&C Performance Cam Sound. So this particular case, we had to DETUNE this one as much as possible. Absolutely the lowest timing I have ever run in a car at 7lbs of boost and an AFR of 10.8. LOWEST we could get is 735rwhp. 1 degree more (which is where we started netted over 750rwhp at an afr of 10.1. In addition after all the pulls. We pulled all plugs just to check them out. PERFECT couldn't be happier.

Jason's Gen 3 Heads / Cam build. Made a solid 609 rwhp on a 90 degree day.

We had a great trip to San Diego to visit our friends at A&C Performance where they have put together one of (if not the) baddest N/A GEN V Vipers in the world.... We came to town with one mission, to make the single profile cam work in the GEN V with the stock computer (a task not easily achieved due to a very limited tuning platform and very restrictive OS) and after laying down 686 RWHP and 642 RWTQ on 91 pump gas I think we can safely say that mission was a huge success. CBK is proud to be working closely with the A&C crew to help them with tuning as they continue development of the ultimate heads/cam Viper package for the newest generation V10. Just starting our Gen V Paxton install. It's coming apart as I type this so we can add another supercharger setup to the Viper community. This will utilize the factory PCM and we'll try to make a nice affordable bolt on kit. Stay tuned. Todd
