Good news this morning. You might remember our little bitty #furby who we rescued when he was only 4 weeks old a couple months ago. He’s grown so much and he found his forever home...with his foster families parents!!!! Huge thanks to @tarampinto for giving this pup a fine education! Happy Weekend

We’re sorry y’all. It wasn’t head trauma but most likely a liver shunt and after hours of treatment he showed zero signs of improvement and remained critical. We went back and forth with the docs about what the next steps looked like and we kept coming back to his current state. He was suffering. We’re devastated. It’s so unfair. Had we been able to get him a few days earlier we might have been in a better place to help but we will really never know. Thanks for all the love and support. We will never forget this little babe Rest in Grace little man. You mattered

SOS happening right now. Shelter called about this 3 month old puppy who appears to have head trauma. We have very little info other than the fact that he is alert and vitals are stable and he needs to get to emergency ASAP. @fostering_unicorns rushed to get him and she’s on her way to ACCESS with him now where our neurologist works. Stay tuned. #giusseppe

Y’all. It never stops. Just when we feel like we can take a breath-NOPE- zero luck! We basically exist on a loop and it’s bananas! So, here we have a little chi with a messed up paw/leg who was at the Delano shelter which has basically zero foot traffic. When we rescue seniors we never know how long we’re going to have with them. The important part of senior rescue, for us, is not letting the end of their lives end in a shelter. Sadly, #sidneyprescott started having seizures and after trying meds they still continued. Surrounded by her fosters @marisahoffy and @anniehofmans we set her tired and frail body free. We will never forget you, Sid Posted @withregram @marisahoffy This is the heartbreaking part of fostering. We said goodbye to Sidney Prescott last night. Despite being on anti seizure meds she continued to struggle. She had come to us in fear of everything and settled in nicely. I’m sorry we couldn’t do more for you lil lady. Thank you for trusting us and letting us love you in your final days. Also a big thank you to @apurposefulrescue for rescuing her. We love you guys.

This adorable little bitty (9 lbs) 12 year old Grampa was surrendered to the shelter due to health issues with his family. The notes they left broke our hearts because he was clearly a very loved dog. The shelter ain’t no place for a Grampa!
