Hi everyone, we are looking for volunteers who would like to spread some holiday cheer! We're looking to make A THOUSAND boxes of pozole ingredients to send to our local farmworkers over the holidays. We will need plenty of Santa's helpers to accomplish this task, so if you and a friend would like to join us, we'd love to have you! The event will Saturday 12/19 from 9AM-12PM at 353 W Rossi St, Salinas. If you have any questions please email Liz at [email protected]. ... I hope to see you there!

Thanks to everyone who reached out and asked us to post our December 2020 Food Distribution Calendars for all geographic areas, for Seniors, and Schools.

Our Thanksgiving Dinner looked different this year, but it was no less appreciated. We are so grateful to the Kiwanis Club of Monterey and City of Salinas for partnering with us on our reimagined Covid 19 appropriate community meal. Boxes of holiday happiness for families across Monterey County. Special thanks to the Marina Fire Department helping us deliver Thanksgiving meals to home-bound seniors and residents. Another special thanks to Randy's Sandwich Shop for partnering with us to Prepare pick-up Thanksgiving Meals for the homeless.

So many thank you's to give for all the support we had distributing holiday meals to some of our most vulnerable neighbors... Huge thanks to the City of Monterey Police for helping us distribute 350 Thanksgiving meals to seniors and residents who are homebound due to Covid. You all are amazing!

We're excited that 'Pick It Up/Pay It Forward' has been extended through December 31st. Our new goal is to raise $50,000 by year-end and, if we reach it, we have a donor match of $25,000! Help us get there! 10% of all proceeds from takeout orders will be donated. Please note that proceeds count only on orders picked up, not delivered. This ongoing event is a delicious way to support the Food Bank and three fantastic local restaurants, Montrio, Tarpy’s, and Rio Grill!... Our great thanks and appreciation to Mona and Ken Donkersloot for their support!

We are happy to announce our volunteer program resumed as of today! Thank you to the students and chaperons of York School for today's volunteer services. The total amount of bags packed was 825 non-perishable and 800 of produce.

Distribution Update for Pajaro, CA Our distribution location for the City of Pajaro has been changed to Our Lady of the Assumption Church located at 100 Salinas Road, Pajaro, CA 95076.
