We are not able to do our Haunt this year. But we can still light up the Castle !!! Missing all of our Haunt friends !!! Have a fun and safe Halloween

On Thursday Aug 13th at 3:10am this model citizen showed up at the castle and decided we no longer needed our sign which was located just outside our gate. Seems he couldn't fit it in his car, so he decided to try jumping on it to break it in half. Well after several minutes of jumping he finally busted it in half and loaded it into his car. Why do people feel they can just do whatever they want? Fortunately we now have almost 100 surveillance cameras covering all the buildin...gs and property of Preston Castle Foundation. You enter the property without permission, you will be recorded and it will be turned over to Ione PD. Oh to this guy, thank you for leaving your In and Out burger soda cup and the sales receipt which fell out of your pockets along with other items as you were jumping. Oh and we also have a clear picture of your license plate. Doesn't pay to be stupid !!! See more

The Preston Castle Foundation is observing all of the guidelines established by the State and County Health Officers. Unfortunately that means that the Preston Castle is closed completely and indefinitely. The Board of Directors will meet on August 5 to evaluate the situation at that point and determine if the Preston Castle Haunt will need to be canceled for 2020. Please check back here and on our website prestoncastle.org for further updates as they become available. Thank you, Karl Knobelauch, President Preston Castle Foundation

To All our Facebook friends Preston Castle Foundation is in need of a state licensed General Contractor to assemble and attach two of these 10x12 prefab gazebos to our exsisting concrete patio. We have budgeted $1200 for this service. If you are interested please contact Bill Thiry at 209-559-3686

We are all so happy that PG&E left the power on for us to proceed with the 2019 Preston Castle Haunt last night! Thank you to everyone who came through this yea...r. It is the continued support of all of you that helps in our efforts to preserve and eventually restore the Preston Castle. We had every angle planned for with the potential outage happening before or during the Haunt last night and didn’t have to use any of them as we were able to run all the way to the end. We hope it was enjoyed by all as much as we all enjoy haunting all of you. Again, thank you all and we hope to scare you even more next year! That’s a wrap! See more
