It is with a heavy heart that we announce our undefeated and rising prospect Alexander "the Great" Enriquez will be retiring from the sport of boxing - due to irreversible, eye damage sustained during surgery. Alex started boxing late at the age of 18. A talented and gifted athlete with amazing reflexes and the heart of a warrior, @alexander_15th had a short, but impressive, amateur career of 22 fights where he became a Southern California State Champ and a National PAL Cha...mp. Coached by George Giovanis and managed by Evangelos Giovanis out of 15th Round Boxing, Alex joined the professional ranks in 2016, where he amassed an impressive, professional record of 11 wins, 0 losses and 3 draws fighting to a room full of fans on prominent shows such as @all_star_boxing @bashboxing @kohighboxing @wfcfights @toprank and @360boxingpromotions. Always slick but never scared to brawl, and climbing in the world rankings as high as 175/1,300 in the Super Bantamweight Division; Alexander was poised to make a run at becoming a world champ. Unfortunately, in the winter of 2019, Alex got injured in training and his eye required surgery. His surgery didn't go according to plan and Alex sustained and suffered nerve damage as a result. In the span of a month, he had to do a second surgery with a different doctor - to try and restore his vision. Never fully recovering from the complications of the surgeries, and after consulting with his team at the 15th Round; Alexander has chosen to retire from the sport of boxing. The door will always be open at his home in the 15th Round, but Alex wishes to focus his energy on becoming a carpenter, building his future by building homes for the local community and we wish him the best. Thanks for all your sacrifice, hard work and determination inside the ring Alexander "the Great" Enriquez; always a warrior, always a 15th Round champ.

Andre Marquez out of 15th Round Boxing was victorious in his last professional fight recording the fastest KO of his career. With devastating body shots, he dropped a seasoned journeyman in 79 seconds. He moves his record to 6-1 w/ 4 KO's and will fight again in July.
