Greetings to all from The Wine Carriage. We are closed for the remainder of the season and will resume our tours in May 2018. We want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love, concern and support in the wake of the devastating fires, which struck our beautiful region. Our hearts go out to our neighbors who experienced loss of life and property. We offer our support to them as we rebuild what will potentially be a safer, more sustainable and connected community. Fortunat...ely, our town, the wineries we visit and our stomping grounds in Alexander Valley were largely spared from the effects of the fires. We did have to evacuate our horses due to smoke and the uncertain fire direction. They are now safely on their winter pasture, 50 miles away. Large swaths of Sonoma County remain pristine and unaffected by the ravages of this tragic event. It is our hope that you will visit us and the many lodgings, restaurants and wineries, which depend on you for their economic wellbeing, in the season to come. Looking forward to better times ahead.
