These are Shimano’s XM9 Alpine Boots, suitable for adventurous bike rides where you might encounter hike-a-bikes, off-bike scrambles, lots of rocks... my kind of rides. This is my test pair and they’re extremely well made, very stiff, SPD compatible. Vibram soles for grip and durability, GoreTex for waterproofing and breathability. The lacing system is great for cinching down on the metatarsals while still giving the ankle freedom to move. These are too pricey and niche to keep in stock, but I can order these - just send me a message with your EU shoe size.

Photos from historic abandoned roads in our local foothills: Daley Canyon Road, West City Creek Road, Plunge Creek Truck Trail, all in one crazy ride.

Every day is a sidewalk sale! Someone you love would love this bike for Christmas: a Jamis Boss 7 cruiser! It has an upright, easy style. It has a lightweight and durable aluminum frame and components. It has 7 speeds to get you up the hill and light-action v-brakes to get you safely back down. Add in a super-comfy saddle and a $439.99 price tag and you may have just found the perfect bicycle. @jamisbikes

This is a Jamis Ventura A2: it’s a fun, fast, and affordable weekend club ride kind of bike. It has a 2x8 Shimano Claris drive train, and Jamis’ size specific design aluminum frame and carbon fork all for less than a grand! We have just a very few of these, so get on over here!

We had a small, socially distant, fun group today, exploring a route that stitched together some of Redlands' little-known trails. This video here shows the Oakmont Trail, which has a spooky amount of slope exposure but is not technically difficult.
