Our #LessonsLearned team has been hard at work, digging through the files for information about subjects to #PreserveMissionReadiness and keep members of the U....S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps safe, at home and on the job. The latest topic? LL 20-26 Autumn fails. #ItCanHappenToYou https://go.usa.gov/x7bWC As promised, a video that’ll make you laugh, cry and think of ways to ensure you #StaySafe and #MissionReady is located right next to Autumn fails. Got a topic you’d like CAPT Dave’s take on? Make a comment below and let’s see what’s on your minds in the fleet. Otherwise, he’ll have to go back to scrubbing barnacles

It's December and we're well into the Cold and Flu season on top of the COVID-19 virus. Please follow CDC guidelines for hygiene, social distancing and wearing a face covering to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you feel "under the weather" call your doctor or one of the nurse help lines for advice. Staying home if you're sick is the best way not to spread illness, whether cold, flu or COVID-19.
NOTICE: NBSD Dry Side Power Outage: In support of on-base electrical repairs, there will be a POWER OUTAGE affecting all of NBSD Dry Side (except Commissary, Navy Lodge, and Pacific Beacon), from 11pm tonight until 3am tomorrow morning.
As we enter the Flu season make sure you are doing what you can to help keep yourself protected!
As COVID continues to impact our greater community make sure you are not getting complacent in practicing your mitigation measures. Continue to practice daily cleanings, questionnaire usage, temperature screenings, wear face coverings, and socially distance. If you are feeling sick, stay home and seek a medical opinion. It is important at this time that we stay vigilant and continue to practice our increased health protection measures!

Today is international ShakeOut Day! There is still time to register your drill at shakeout.org You are encouraged today to think about what your plan would be if an earthquake struck whether you are at work, home or anywhere else. The main goal of ShakeOut day is to make people think about what they should do before, during and after an earthquake. Consider securing large or high up items in your home that could fall during an earthquake, practice drop, cover, and hold on, and discuss muster points or rendezvous locations with your coworkers or family. Having a plan now could help protect you from harm later, for more information go to shakeout.org
