In preparation for the ooky spooky weekend ahead, we give you the Toad in a Blender, a twist on @thespruceeats Frog in a Blender. We added a spicy Jalapeño syrup that gives the cocktail just the kick it needs to keep you warm on these chilly Humboldt nights. Toad in a Blender 1.5oz Humboldt Organic Vodka .5oz Jalapeño Simple Syrup... 2 Lime rounds 4oz Cranberry 1 cup Ice Throw it all in a blender for a few moments and you'll end up with a good and frothy cocktail.

How we're lookin' on the outside vs. How we're feelin' on the inside We love this style of image, where the ocean wraps around the bottle. We feel like it encapsulates our Organic Vodka and Humboldt in just the right way. What you don’t usually see are the shots that come afterwards, as our boots are filling with water, and we're hightailing it to dry land (bottle in hand).

The perfect companion for a little sunset chasing "An organic and nicely priced expression from beautiful Humboldt County in Northern California. Smooth, lush, and balanced, with velvety notes of vanilla and clean flavors, a delicate texture, and generous finish." -Anthony Dias Blue for Tasting Panel, June 2020

We're feeling pretty grateful for these clear skies, how are you going to take advantage of them this weekend? : @graysoneking

It’s difficult to define Humboldt's Finest - it’s an alcohol that really stands in a category of its own, a distinctive spirit that gets its flavor from the aromatic terpenes found in the Hemp plant (Cannabis sativa L.). Flavor and profile wise, it’s most like a gin, but it lacks a juniper component that would place it in that category. We like to describe it as a unique botanical spirit that drinks like a gin, but not. How would you describe the Finest? We would love to hear. : @_shotbyale

Here's a favorite of ours. Super easy and refreshing, the Finest Elderflower Tonic is perfect for any happy hour. (Don't forget the cucumber garnish - just one slice seems to make all the difference.) Finest Elderflower Tonic 2 oz Humboldt's Finest 4-5 oz Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic... Slice of Cucumber for Garnish Add Humboldt's Finest to a glass over ice. Top with tonic and gently stir. Garnish with cucumber.

Sunday was National Vodka Day. One of these days we’ll figure out how to use a calendar. Until then, we’ll continue to celebrate our vodka every day of the year - just in case. \_()_/ : Grayson King Photography

As Coastal Cleanup Month has come to a close we have been reflecting on what an inspiring month it was! It was a joy to watch organizations, households, and individuals head out to clean up their local waterways and support their communities. We ended up donating cleanup materials to over 400 individuals, and are already looking forward to doing it again next year (Swipe through to see a fraction of what people collected!). We also participated in a few cleanups ourselves - h...eading out to our local beach and collecting over 20,000 nails! Coastal Cleanup month - and all that came with it, injected a lot of joy into our lives. It gave our trips to the beach with the dogs a little more purpose and made us feel hopeful as we watched people all down the state do the same. Even though the month has come to a close, we aren’t going to stop tending to our local waterways and we encourage you to do the same. If you want to head out there and clean up a waterway in your community please reach out, we are always happy to share supplies and tips to help you do so. We also encourage you to look to local organizations in your area for directions on best practices and how to catalog what you clean up. We have tagged the organizations below who helped us distribute materials, and who work hard to keep their communities' waterways in good health. We encourage you to follow those in your area to stay informed on what is happening in your community. It's finally the season for Spiced Rum Cider! Our Spiced Rum paired with fresh cider makes for one heck of a beverage that we return to every year. It's usually our go to for fall events and the first thing on our minds when we feel a tinge of fall in the air. California is still feeling pretty summer-like right now, but fortunately it’s just as good hot as it is on ice. Humboldt’s Spiced Rum Cider (Cold) 1.5 oz Humboldt Spiced Rum cup of Fresh Apple Cider (We highly re...commend Clendenen’s) Orange slice for garnish Simply pour 1.5 oz spiced rum over ice. Add cold apple cider and garnish with orange. When it does come time for a warm beverage we recommend kicking it up a notch by adding some spices to the cider. Humboldt’s Spiced Rum Cider (Hot) gallon of Fresh Apple Cider 1 Cinnamon stick 6 whole Cloves 2 whole Allspice Let the spices soak in the cider while it comes to a hearty boil. To serve: in a mug pour 1.5 oz spiced rum. Add hot apple cider and garnish with an orange slice.
