Meet our oral surgeon. Dr. Solomon Poyourow is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a focus on dental implants, facial reconstruction and orthognathic surgeries to correct TMJ disorders, sleep apnea and other issues pertaining to the jaw. After attending the University of California in Santa Barbara, Dr. Poyourow went on to earn his Masters in Public Health at Columbia University. He then returned home to complete his medical and dental degrees at UCLA, graduating dental school with high honors. Dr. Poyourow chose to stay at UCLA to complete his six-year residency, during which time he completed an internship in general surgery with an emphasis on plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as otolaryngology.

Our goal is for your child to have the best dental experience possible. We nurture them through their first appointment and make it a playful experience. We are careful not to push them into anything they are not ready for. Kids love playing with the toys in our reception area and meeting Dr. Doncheva. Her experience as a mom helps them feel comfortable and prevents their being afraid of the dentist. We want your child’s first dental appointment to go smoothly and be the first step in a lifetime of good dental health.
