Most people gain their motivation after starting something and once they start seeing results The biggest piece of advice that I can give to anyone thinking about starting a fitness and nutrition program is to just start. We’re going through a heat wave right now! So that means: Drink MORE water!! You can lose up to 10 liters per day during exercise in the heat!!... To put that in perspective, on a cool day at rest you might lose 500 mL per day. That’s quite a difference!! You’re going to want to keep that water bottle full, and make sure you’re drinking you’re drinking 8oz of water every 15-20 minutes when working or working out in the heat (this is about 32oz per hour). Some signs of dehydration include: Feeling thirsty Dark yellow and strong smelling urine Feeling dizzy or lightheaded Feeling tired A dry mouth, lips and eyes Urinating infrequently, fewer than 4 times per day. Stay hydrated over the next couple of days, and bring extra water if you’re going to be working out!
