Long Island Cinema - Competition: In 2011 we participated in a design competition to create a landmark entertainment complex celebrating cinema along the edge of New York's Long Island. The site has unbelievable views back to the city's UN building and rich urban context beyond. Our concept organized 12 various sized movie theaters in a wheel shaped structure, creating an iconic statement in a gritty industrial neighborhood along the East River.

Sakura House, Pasadena - Single Family Residence: Almost 8 years ago our friend, Jenny Huang, asked us to help her with a really fun home addition to her family's residence in Pasadena, CA. We took the project all the way through construction documents and really loved the process working with Jenny and her family. The final product is an 8,900 sf house with a Japanese modern inspired design.

958 Fair Oaks, Pasadena - Creative Office Re-Positioning: We have been asked to provide a creative solution to reposition the old El Cholo restaurant (very spanish mediterranean aesthetic) and give the building a fresh look. Our solution was to stay clean, simple and modern completely rebranding the property for today's creative office tenants.

Sand Canyon Water Treatment Plant - Design Concepts - We had the opportunity to provide one of our established clients in Santa Clarita with design concepts for a water treatment facility for their Sand Canyon Plaza project. Our concepts are inspired by simple agrarian barn architecture using traditional and contemporary motifs as inspiration. Lisi Aerospace Lobby - Under Construction: One of our small but interesting projects in the City of Industry...the company is an aerospace manufacturer of airplane parts. We created a new lobby experience for them by applying an airplane graphic on new glazing 8 feet in front of new cloud graphics on the corridor wall. The affect should create movement as you walk through the space. It's almost done!

We are excited about the Capitol Mill coming on line in early 2017 after almost 10 years of patience and work! We have always enjoyed collaborating with Frank Martinez of Martinez + Hostettler as well. The project has almost 50,000 sf of creative office and 10,000 sf of food uses including 2 restaurants and a food hall!
