Woodland Holiday Parade brings magic to Main Street

Jim and Shirley recently returned from attending the annual Fire Museum Network conference held this year at the Los Angeles City Fire Department museum in Holl...ywood. Tours to other area museums included the new Los Angeles County Fire Department museum including a behind the scenes tour of their warehouse and restoration shop. The Long Beach fire museum ( with A BBQ dinner) and the LA City Air Ops stations were also on the schedule. Seminar speakers covered topics including setting up a fire alarm telegraph system, technology system security, and firefighting in early Rome. It was also great to network with other museums.
