We Speak student council is an inclusive space for all gender minorities to discuss potential methods for training students on harassment prevention. We Speak gives students the opportunity to speak about the solutions for student mediation they would like for their peers to engage in. By inviting all high school gender minorities across all debate forums to partici...pate in these 90-minute mentor guided brainstorming session where we will begin discussing the foundations of the issues students experience in debate, current procedures and best practices, and legal processes. Students who participate in the We Speak Student council will participate in 4 session meeting every 3rd Wednesday at 7 P.M. CST from February 24th until May 26th. At the completion of these sessions, students will be awarded a certificate of completion and invited back to participate in virtual programming as well as in assisting in the first student-led training during virtual programming this summer. https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLScKn6xpMbFeom6YWu/viewform
