For our seniors and disabled Medicare community: Did you know now is your Part D prescription drug plan open enrollment season? Open enrollment for drug plans ends December 7th. It is important to compare your coverage and options each year. In addition to Part D open enrollment it is also the Special Enrollment period for those who missed your Part B deadline or did not enroll during your original eligibility period. Special enrollment runs through March 31st for a July... 1st effective date. To provide clarification to those who are confused it is NOT open enrollment for Medicare supplement plans.
