Walter Becker was the first famous musician to do a radio ad for West LA Music. In the early 70's, Walter purchased a Tascam 8 track tape recorder (advanced at the time) and recorded a radio ad that ended with "this is Walter Becker tootin West L.A. Music's horn". He was a great musician and friend and he will be missed. His music lives on.
