Congratulations Dr Alexandra Katehakis, MFT, PhD on being the recipient of the Smart Award! The SMART Award is named in honor of our founder, Victoria Smart, and is presented annually to a member of WAAT that has uniquely exemplified our vision of promoting female leadership and excellence in the addiction industry. Nominees should have a demonstrated history of efforts to advance the awareness, prevention, and treatment of addiction and related consequences while offering consistent encouragement and support to our members and to others working in the addiction field.
