Mic Drop! One of the glaring problems that I see is that once certain facts that are the foundation of her argument are proven untrue, then her whole argument starts to unravel. Do I believe that young researchers can get shut down and their papers either shelved or incorporated into other's work. Yes, I do. Do I believe that certain researchers can get into the high tiered peer reviewed journals easier than others, and not necessarily because of better research or writ...ing? Yes I do. Do I believe that there is a viral mechanism underlying chronic fatigue or myalgic encephalomyeltis? Yes, I do, but if the paper gets retracted from Science journal and the findings are not reproduce able and a major journal article in 2011 refutes the earlier finding , I am finding it tough to believe that the virus studied is the smoking gun. It is a very slick movie- but I don't believe the assumptions or assertions. Very concerned that vulnerable populations and under served communities will adopt these statements and unknowingly harm themselves or others. See more
