Let the curl journey begin! "Before & After Results of my clients first Twist Cut today! . Jocelyn was already using a sulfate and silicone free shampoo & conditioner. However what she was using was too heavy for her hair type, and she hadn’t ever had a curly cut and been educated on proper product application & technique to style her curls. ... We gave her a cut that added more movement & bounce and then I coached her using @innersenseorganicbeauty products on how to apply them properly using water! Hair needs water to be hydrated and happy. In order to make sure your hair has water, you need HOLD. Using curl creams and conditioners alone will not give you definition, because there’s nothing to lock in the moisture. I cleansed her with Pure Harmony Hairbath followed by Color Radiance Conditioner. I lightly rinsed her hair but left a good amount of the conditioner in. I can do that with Innersense because there are no heavy oils, silicones or waxes that will build up on the hair. At the shampoo bowl in WET hair, I applied I create Volume throughout, focusing on the areas that have more frizz. Out of the shampoo bowl with my clients head flipped over, I applied I Create Lift Volumizing foam liberally to still dripping wet hair, and then gently scrunched the water out of her hair. We then diffused on low heat. The result is defined, bouncy curls, with significantly less frizz.
