You may have seen the next photo in the Observer article last week. Our staff and volunteers assisted Fullerton City Council Member, Ahmad Zahra, load food coolers in preparation for delivering his regularly scheduled route on "Double Monday" which is when our clients receive meals for both Monday and Tuesday. A big thanks to staff and volunteers! Please pass on that we are always looking for volunteers.

An NCL Fullerton Chapter Ticktocker (and her mother) delivered meals as well as hand made holiday cards and ornaments created by Girl Scout Troop 3235 to our homebound clients.

Ed Paul, Adjutant of the Fullerton American Legion Post 142, presented a $25 Target gift card to one of our clients to say 'Happy Thanksgiving Veteran'. All of the veterans on our program received gift cards for Thanksgiving. Meals on Wheels of Fullerton is grateful for the American Legion's continuing support!

This gift includes a decorated box, donations from the Fullerton American Legion Post 142, as well as hand-decorated cards from Fullerton National Charity League's Ticktockers to say 'Thank you for your service'. Meals on Wheels Fullerton is proud to be delivering one of these gifts to each of the 12 veterans enrolled in our program.

On October 27th, Assistance League of Fullerton Assisteens bagged up Kate Farms Komplete nutrition drinks for our clients. They decorated the delivery bags and included Halloween cards. Thanks for making our clients feel special!
