Following the publication of the article, the industry saw a sizable increase in construction tech investment. Skilled trades are a great career path for students who are graduating high school. There has been some increase in the recent years when it comes to informing students about skilled trades, however, there needs to be a stronger push into the school system in order to give students the freedom to choose the path they want to take after graduation. The trades should not be seen as a "fallback" option for those who do not have interest in pursuing a college degree.
