One week after the historical #SpaceX #Falcon9 #CrewDragon launch, Rolling Robots' members went to launch their own rockets. They are a group of kids from a 5th grader to a high school Junior. They learned to build their own rockets, customize them, and launch them safely. It was a beautiful, windless day that is ideal for launching rockets. This 43-in-tall rocket went up so high that it disappeared into the blue sky for about 1 minute and it took another minute to come b...ack down from the time when it can be spotted in the sky. The perfect weather helped the rocket return near their launching pad. This is not a #Falcon9 reusable rocket, but the build-in parachute helps the rocket make a "soft" landing so the rocket can be re-launched multiple times.
