Traditional Karate Santa Barbara 16.12.2020

Traditional karate for adults and children. Join Tom Scott, 5th degree black belt, and learn traditional Japanese karate. Build confidence, strengthen your body and mind. Learn self-defense in a safe and sane environment, and surprise yourself at how skilled you can become. Join Tom to train your body and mind in an enjoyable and safe environment. Traditional Karate provides the skills to enable an individual to defend themselves against either single or multiple opponents.... Traditional Karate teaches mastery of both mind and body. The sport can be done by men and women, children, and older people. Everyone can benefit. But most importantly, Instructor Tom Scott emphasizes safety above all else. He teaches in a way that allows you to develop your skills to the maximum, but not push the body beyond what it should do. As you master traditional Karate, people of all sizes, ages and both men and women can learn to defend themselves against bigger, stronger opponents. Children Children gain a sense of mastery and confidence. They learn lessons far beyond self defense, as they gain life skills of discipline and the confidence that comes with accomplishment. Tom provides an environment that provides fun and safety along with hard work. The children enjoy themselves as they master new skills. Adults Adults can join Tom's beginning self-defense classes, and then move on to the traditional karate classes. Or they can start directly with the karate classes which still provide a grounding in self-defense skills. The classes provide excellent conditioning of the body, the chance to learn an amazing art, and the confidence that comes with the self-defense skills that are taught. Men and women who have never thought of themselves as athletes can with time and persistance qualify to earn high level belts including the coveted black belt.
