In the 1980s, BMW locked eyes to the DTM championship (Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft) and launched the great original BMW M3. With an ambitious mind and a capable car. The BMW M3 won two DTM championships in 1987 and 1989, as well as up to ten different championships worldwide. It was here where BMW M3 became the name of legendary, and encapsulates what they often called Race on Sunda...y, Sell on Monday. After more than 30 years, BMW M3 has gone through five generations. The sixth generation BMW M3 was introduced in 2020, with BMW M3 being the four door variant and BMW M4 being the two door variant. The two enlarged BMW kidney grille sparks some discussion to behold. Technically, the new BMW M3/M4 now have the option for a four wheel drive powertrain. There is also an estate wagon variant in the making, all of which make the new BMW M3/M4 as one of the most anticipated cars in this generation. Interesting to note that the rear wheel drive BMW M3/M4 has a manual transmission option, a fan favourite for one that pursues the best driving experience. The story between Ford and Ferrari in the 1960s Le Mans has been a popular tale among car enthusiasts, even more given the publicities from Hollywood films. Resembling the GT40, Ford introduced the new Ford GT to commemorate the legendary four-time Le Mans winning car. Ford later decided to gear up the GT, and branded it as the Mk II : a well-known badge in the motorsports world of 1966. The original Ford GT40 Mk II most famously won the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. Fast forward... to the modern Ford GT Mk II, now with the campaign No rules. No regulations. No limitations, the new Mk II is an unrestricted track-day toy for the very few lucky owners. The tuning on the Mk II is based on the Ford GT LM GTE. With fine carrying from Ford and engineering team Multimatic, the result is 700 horsepower, 400 percent of extra downforce and 91 kilograms of reducing weights. From lightweights to aerodynamics, every bit on the Mk II is immaculately measured and built to be as close to the extreme. Debuted at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed in England.
