The Ballet Studio is so excited to welcome Sophia Lucia for Contemporary Ballet and Turns on Thursdays! Sophia is a world famous dancer, a gold medal winner at the Varna International Ballet Competition, and the Guinness World Record Holder for consecutive pirouettes. Welcome Sophia!!!

We have exciting news for our adult dancers!! We are going to offer an alternative payment system just for our adult program. We know you’re busy, and we want to accommodate you. We now are offering a punch card system. You buy a punch card for a number of classes and you use them according to your availability for any of the adult classes. The options are as follows. 5 classes for $65 ($13 per class) 10 classes for $120 ($12 per class) 20 classes for $200 ($10 per class) O...r $20 for a drop in rate of one class Cards expire three months after purchase. We offer a variety of classes specifically for adults including Beginner Ballet, Beginner/Intermediate Ballet, Intermediate/Advanced Ballet, and adult Pointe. We also offer morning and evening classes to accommodate different schedules. Please let us know if you’d also like us to consider adding a ballet conditioning class for adults. Additionally, there are performing opportunities for all levels of adults who are interested. Our adults have a great time together. I hope you’ll join us. Last (but only because she is a W) is Hailey W. You started in 2009 as a Santa’s Helper and Snow Angel and finish your high school year as our student Marie for our latest Nutcracker. It has been wonderful to be part of your growing as a dancer and as a person. You bring life and love to the Studio. Our little dancers love to watch you dance and you take the time to embrace them and love them back. As you go off to college, we hope you know that you take our love with you. Hailey, you always have a home at The Ballet Studio.

Next up is Emma N. Emma has danced with us for 12 years. Emma, you bring such joy and laughter to the studio and when you are not here we miss you. You bring to the studio the elegance of a Fairy Godmother as well as the sinister bearing of a Drossomeyer. The other dancers value you as friend. Many look up to you and know you will have a word of encouragement for them. We wish you great success in your college career. We know the people you well meet in the future are going to be very lucky people. Don’t forget us.

First up is Sophie D. Sophie started dancing in the adult/teen classes 2 years ago. Your never-ending good mood brings light into every class. Your sense of humor brings laughter to our world. You played the queen in Giselle with such ease and authority. You have always been encouraging and supportive to your fellow dancers. It has been a joy to have you at the Studio. We wish you success in your future endeavors and hope you stay connected to The Ballet Studio.

On to Our High School Class of 2020 This is a big milestone. You are moving from childhood to adulthood even if you think you have been there for many years all ready. Before we talk about each one of you we want you to know you will always be part of The Ballet Studio family.

Another middle school student heading to high school next school year is Emily L. Many students wonder if they are ready for high school, but for Emily, will high school be ready for her. Over the past 6 years we have seen you mature as dancer and a person. You are kind and smart, with a little goofy on the side. Emily, it is going to be joy to watch you continue to grow as a person and dancer over the next 4 years.

Cheyenne is moving from the middle school to the high school. This can be a scary time but we know you will flourish. You have been with us for 4 years. We have watched you grow into beautiful young lady and dancer. You always have a smile and that smile brings such joy to those around you. Your high school teachers will be very lucky to have you grace their classes as you continue to bring your joy to the Studio. We look forward to watching you continue to grow as a dancer and a person.

We move now to Our Middle school promotions. Alexis is leaving middle school behind and starting high school in the fall. Alexis has been dancing with the studio since 2010. Alexis, you will excel in high school as you did in middle school. As a little dancer we could see your dedication to ballet. That dedication makes it fun to watch you dance. Thank you for bring a sense of calm to the Ballet 3s. It has been a joy watching you grow as a dancer and as a young lady. It is going to be exciting to see you continue to advance over these next 4 years.

We began with college, today we are moving way back to elementary school. We are so happy to wish Madisyn good luck as she moves from 5th grade to 6th. This is a big step for our younger dancers. Madisyn, you will do wonderfully well in middle school. Over the past 6 years we have enjoyed watching you grow as a dancer. Madisyn, your smile brightens up our Studio and the lives around you (even on Zoom). You dance with you heart and it a pleasure to watch. It’s going to be an amazing ride watching your grow as a dancer

Our first shout out goes to Miss Gia. Gia started dancing with The Ballet Studio over 16 years ago. Gia, we have watched you go from ballet student to ballet teacher at the Studio. You bring amazing energy and humor to the Studio. You dance with such joy; it can only spread to the other dancers. We are blessed to have such a beautiful role model for the other dancers. Gia, you are a great friend to all at the Studio. Congratulations, Gia, on your graduation from California State University, San Marcos. You have worked hard and we are so honored that you are a part of the Studio. We wish you well as you start this next phase of your life and only hope that this phase will still include the Studio.
