The most basic dental appointment is also the most necessary: This is the bi-annual exam and cleaning. Routine exams and cleanings cement a strong base for your oral health. Keeping up with these appointments is important in maintaining exceptional oral health and preventing disease and decay. https://www.thelbdentist.com/services/dental-exam/

Teeth whitening is a very popular cosmetic dentistry procedure that improves the appearance of teeth by restoring the enamel to its natural white color. It is estimated that over 100 million Americans whiten their teeth. Our professional teeth whitening is far more powerful and effective than over-the-counter solutions. A common alternative to professional bleaching is Crest white strips, which may take up to 40 uses before a desired outcome is visible. https://www.thelbdentist.com/services/teeth-whitening/

When a tooth’s pulp becomes infected, a root canal may be necessary to save the tooth. A tooth’s pulp is where the nerve, blood vessels, and connective tissue are housed. https://www.thelbdentist.com/services/root-canal/

COVID-19 UPDATE Dear Patient: We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.... Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example: Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our temporary emergency number (714) 651-5624. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends. Sincerely, Dr. Leonard Espinosa Schedule Today Request Appointment Call Us Now 562-599-2711

Our office has decided to close as a precaution, and not because we have information that someone has been infected or exposed to the virus. We know in our industry that we are in close personal contact with patients. We feel that it is in the best interests of both our team and our patients if we cease services for the time being in order to reduce the risk of exposure for everyone. We will be seeing patients on a case by case Emergency Basis, to be determined by the on ca...ll doctor. Right now, we have decided to close from March 23, 2020 to April 13, 2020. We will communicate with you via email or this FB page if this date changes. Our hope is to resume normal schedules as soon as we can. If we decide to change the length of this closure, we will let you know as soon as possible. Our goal is to support a healthy team and a safe workplace during a very difficult time in our state. Stay safe to all. God Bless you all. See more

To Our Valued Patients, As the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues, your heath and well being is our primary concern. Rest assured that strict sterilization techniques have always been employed by our office, as well as increased measures we are now taking to provide you with a safer and more sanitary environment when you come for your visit. The current standards of care that apply to all dental offices are a product of past infectious disease outbreaks. These st...andards have long required us to treat all patients as if they have a communicable disease when they walk into our office, and include stringent sterilization procedures to prevent the spread of any such disease to other patients or staff. We uphold the same standards as a medical office, but unlike a doctors' office, or hospital, our patients are generally healthy and are not being treated for contagious illnesses in our office. The result is that dental offices are among the safest places at times like these. Because our team has been trained and educated in these procedures, and we take them seriously, you can be reassured that during your visit all instruments and materials are sterile, that dental providers will use personal protective devices (gloves, masks, etc.), and that all dental chairs and treatment rooms are sanitized between patients. We have also taken action to increase the sanitation levels of our common areas. These measures include the removal of books and magazines from waiting areas, and frequent sanitation of door handles and other frequently touched areas, surfaces and objects throughout the office. While we are confident in the measures we are taking to keep you safe when you visit us, if you have been experiencing signs of acute respiratory illness such as coughing, fever and shortness of breath, please contact us so we can reschedule your appointment. In the meantime, please remain calm, practice good hygiene protocols, and follow the guidelines set by the CDC or the local health authorities. Until further notice, our office remains open and committed to serving and protecting the community and you. We are honored you have chosen us as your dental home. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. Thank you, Dr. Leonard Espinosa and Staff
