Phacharee Arunleung I was born into the sport. I started training at five years old. It was fun at first, but then I got bored when I HAD to train ...everyday. I went off and played other sports. I put all my time into basketball and put Muay Thai on the back burner. Once I graduated high school, I started going to the gym more and started to enjoy training. I definitely appreciate it more now and want to improve everyday. Growing up, I liked that my dad’s fighters had to take turns picking up from school when we were at the Clementina Fairtex. My own personal bodyguards. On a serious note; they definitely taught me how to be strong and independent. I definitely got teased a lot by them (all in good fun)- so nothing phases me now!! Arunleung was born in Thailand and emigrated to the USA when she was young. Her father, Ganyao Fairtex, was a trainer at Fairtex in both Arizona and later in San Francisco.
