Throwback to 1999 - at Gameness Open in Los Angeles. I got ezequieled in the second round of my weight class but came back strong and won the absolute. Was that really 20 years ago? Jiu-Jitsu is the fountain of youth if you take care of your body. There was a time when I thought I’d be forced to quit due to long term injuries. But I slowed down, healed and now give thanks to everyday that I can get on the mats.
