Every year or two, Stockton Firefighters select a small group from within the department and put them through an in-house Dive Rescue Class. These firefighters ...were selected after a swim test and candidate interview. This class will certify them to work at the dive rescue firehouse in victory park, Engine 6. This is their first week of several weeks of dive training. The class (as always) is taught by current SFD Firefighters/Divers, and headed by lead instructor Captain Sean Hidalgo. Captain Hidalgo is one of the highest certified dive instructors on the west coast- so you’re in good hands tadpoles! Congratulations! See more
