Sonoma State Road Bike Club

Hey everyone! Let’s get Sonoma State rolling! I know a bunch of you ride, bring it back. Start a cycling team or club. I know a Sonoma State employee who will sponsor the club, just do it! Chuck Hutcheson

We did it! Our Constitution was approved, and we are now an officially chartered club. Get ready for some rides, but for now, get off Facebook and study for finals next week!

We are on our way to being official (again)! Chuck Hutcheson and Erik Zaro have volunteered to be president and treasurer. The Anthropological Studies Center's Michael Stoyka has agreed to be our adviser, and our Constitution and Bylaws have been submitted for approval! If you are an SSU student and would like to be part of the club, find us on SSU's orgsync.

All, if you are a current student and are interested (you are!) in joining the Sonoma State Road Bike Club, email me (Chuck) at [email protected]. We have had several students express interest, female and male, so this should be pretty cool! We have awesome roads to ride near campus, so join the club and enjoy one of the most wonderful things Sonoma State has to offer - some of the most scenic and beautiful areas in the country. Thanks!

Weather permitting, I'm looking to plan a ride out to the coast on Sunday. Sunday seems to have the most promising weather forecast. The half-way point will likely be the town of Marshall, population 400. Comment if you're interested in joining!

Come join us Friday, January 31 at 2:00pm for a ride, weather permitting. It'll be a pretty mellow ride, nothing too crazy. We'll meet at the SSU flagpole. *Helmets are mandatory
