As you all know a drastic disaster took place earlier this week in Beirut, Lebanon, due to an ammonium nitrate explosion. We as members of Phi Delta Theta feel for the country of Lebanon and the negative impact that it has put upon the people. Our fraternity feels deeply for the people of Lebanon as one of our brothers has also been closely affected by this disaster having family in Lebanon. Here at Phi Delta Theta we stand by our motto that one man is no man, which is why we feel that as a fraternity it is our civic duty to raise money for the country of Lebanon. All the donations will go towards the Lebanese Red Cross and Disaster fund. Anything that you can contribute would help, thank you. . https:// www.gofundme.com/f/2fayag-beirut-disaster

Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it. Today and everyday we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you for your service!!

Hello everyone! Our Phi Friday for this past week showcases one of our founding fathers, Bond number 1, Jose Andrade! Jose is a Sonoma State Alumnus who graduated with a BA in Hutchins, Liberal Arts, Mexican American Studies, and California History. Brother Jose also minored in Internet Mediated Communications and Distance Learning, as well as Spanish. Brother Jose was an active member for only 2 months, but is pleased to see the amazing things we’ve accomplished since he went alum. Without Jose’s hard work we wouldn’t be the fraternity we are today, so for that we thank him and we will keep transmitting the fraternity greater than it was transmitted to us.
