COVID-19 UPDATE Spotlight Closing until Further Notice Dear Parents and Students,... With the health and safety of students, families, and staff in mind, and as more precautionary measures have been ordered by the local government, Spotlight School will be extending the temporarily closure until further notice. We have been offering online lessons in place of regular in-person lessons since the first day of the closure. We are greatly thankful to the families who have kept their weekly lessons going without any interruption. We are again calling more students to sign up for online lessons with us. SPOTLIGHT CLOSING MARCH 16-31 Dear Students and Parents, Following the closures of many of schools, Spotlight will be suspending all in-person lessons and classes, at all our three locations, effective Monday, March 16, through Tuesday, March 31, in the hope to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19.... Online lessons will be available starting Monday. Spotlight is still open this Saturday 3/14 & Sunday 3/15 for in-person lessons. Makeup credits for missed lessons during the period 3/16 through 3/31 will be saved toward future lessons when we are back to normal instruction schedule. Please contact us to schedule online lessons. We hope many of you can keep lessons going during this time at least. Take good care of yourself and your loved ones. Keep practicing! Dear Parents and Students, Amid ongoing concerns about the Coronavirus COVID-19, at Spotlight, we make it our top priority the health and well-being of our students, families, teachers, staff, and the community at large. We are implementing additional hygiene procedures and extra sanitation standards, with the goal of helping prevent illness to spread.... Considering that most Orange County school districts still stay open, our school remains open for lessons, at all our locations. Our teachers are professionals whose main source of income is giving lessons. Closing the school would mean they will go without their livelihood. However, we recognize you may choose to avoid going to places when you don't have to and practice social distancing. With everyone’s safety and welfare in mind, and to keep our students’ learning progress, we are prepared to offer our lessons online. To continue having weekly lessons online with us, all you need is something that can connect to the internet - a computer/tablet/smart phone. We will walk you through every step that you need to set up your device. Then all you do is to grab your instrument and start your lesson. Please let us know if you would like to switch to online lessons, or if you have any questions. This is an ever changing situation. We will monitor it closely and keep you updated.
