Hi Spartans Family! For those who have been inquiring, yesterday, the State of California finally released updated guidelines for youth sports. This update applies to all organized youth sports, including school programs, privately-organized clubs/leagues, and adult recreational sports. The guidelines place different sports and activities into tiers based on their amount of contact. Soccer is currently listed in the Moderate Tier (Orange). To Our Spartans Wolves Families, We have an update from the City and with our ongoing commitment to putting the safety of our players, families and community first, we have to temporarily suspend all field practices effective immediately with current plans of resuming activities Tuesday, January 5th. We urge you all to continue to monitor BAND team page and/or Wolf Call E-Blast for messages from your Coach, messages and updates from the Board. Dear Spartans Wolves Families, There's no greater priority in our mission than the safety of our players, coaches and families. With the new concern about the Coronavirus, it is our goal to keep our Spartans Wolves families safe by providing the most up-to-date information available. With new Coronavirus concerns, we want you to know we have been talking and discussing daily as an administration team to assess the situation, develop contingency plan and review recommendation...s from public health officials. At this time, We are currently taking direction from government agencies, including the State of California, the CDC, LA County Department of Health and the City of Inglewood on how to proceed. As of the writing of this message we have no active cases of COVID-19 within our club. So far the City of Inglewood have not yet stated to cancel practices. That being said, conditions could change quickly, so we urge you to monitor BAND team page and/or Wolf Call E-Blast for messages and updates. We want to make the best decisions for our club families and, most importantly, promise to keep our players and families best interests in mind at all times. We do kindly ask that if your child are currently experiencing any flu/cold like symptoms, to protect themselves and others, we ask that your child stay home and rest.
