There is so much I love about this photo, taken on last nights bike ride: Long spring evenings filled with perfect sunlight, the joy of these never-ending days, the warmth of setting sun paired with the first evenings chill when I stepped in the shade to snap this. But here’s what stuck with me: Precipice. This flower, who will scatter in the next breeze, and us, on the verge of opening. We’ll be ok. We’re all smarter, readier, more resilient. You open at the pace that feels right to you. And take good care of you: this is hard. Last: I’ve missed you!
