This message is written with heavy heart to let our Conference know that we lost our past President Jerry Real ,who passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday October 22nd. Jerry is survived by his wife Sabina and his son Jerald. Our condolences go out to them during this difficult time. Jerry will always have a special place in the hearts and souls of every Conference member who worked with him. Jerry dedicated approximately 25 years to San Gabriel Valley Jr All American Footba...ll and Cheer in a multitude of roles. He started with the Baldwin Park Road Runners in 1990 where he served as an AD. Jerry eventually became the City President for Baldwin Park, before joining the Conference Board in 1995 as the Conference VP. In 2000, Jerry took over the leadership of Conference and spent 15 years leading this organization. Jerry was truly dedicated to this program and to our youth. Jerry will be remembered for his early vision of player safety and engaging this program with USA Football for the betterment of our athletes. At this time we do not have any details on any memorial services. We will advise when we get more information. We ask that everyone please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Yesterday our Confernce made the tough decision based on the health and safety of all involved and have canceled the 2020 season for both football and cheer. We will see everyone in 2021.

One of our Franchises can use donations to replace stolen equipment this past week. If you have extra equipment you can donate please reach out to us.

SGVJAA will be partnering with the PCC Conference in the Jr Midget Division during weeks 1 through 5. This opportunity will offer a great experience for our teams to play against another program.
