A client sent me his heart rate graph after a recent outdoor group workout. This one had 7 hill runs with about 5’ strength training in between. During our recent heatwave and some of the worst air quality in SF, I finally fixed up the stationary bike and took a ride. The garage had *by far* the lowest temperature of my apartment and the workout was actually really fun. Lately I’ve been experimenting with using doors as fitness equipment. They’re awesome! Here’s how to do Rows, Scaptions, and Pull-Ups on a door and door frame. Before you start, gently test the door + handles + frame to make sure they’re solid enough before you put a lot of weight on them. When you’re good to go, start with just a few repetitions if beginner-level. For advanced folks, there are a lot of tricky grip options using aspects of the frame itself.
