The list of what forms will not be accepted until late February or early March has arrived. I have reviewed it and the only form that really jumps out that a very small percentage of you may have is, Depreciation. Form 4562. The rest of the forms typically business related and other miscellaneous credit forms that most of you my friends don’t take. So as it stands, you all will be able to start filing your tax returns on the 30th. That being said, as soon as you collect your W2, Tax Documents, and other related forms, you are ready to file. Your tax return can be filed prior to the 30th. It will be sent electronically on the 30th. You should expect to see your traditional refund check deposited within about 21 days after you file or after January 30, which ever is later.

Breaking News: The IRS just announced that they have delayed the start of the tax season until January 30th. As of today the deadline to file is still April 15. Expect tax refunds to be a bit delayed almost 21 days after filing your taxes. Some tax forms will be delayed which means that many will have to wait unil late February or early March before they file. Remember that you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to file your tax return and a hundred more to get it fast, besides there is no guarantee that you will get it fast. The Fiscal Cliff was diverted, but what did that do? The tax season is scheduled to start on January 22nd. As long as the IRS is ready to receive tax returns, since they had no direction until January 1st when the Cliff was diverted. This means the IRS can now finalize many forms and only until then can we begin sending in your tax returns. You may see a delay in your refund anywhere from 10-21 days after filing. However, you may have already see many companies advertisin...g that you can file your taxes and yet, "You don't need your W2" This is the bait and switch given that they can download your W2 to their system at a substantial cost to you. There is no need to worry! Be mindful to gather all of your W2's, all of your deductions, and any information that you think can be helpful in your taxes.
