The Santa Clarita Valley lost approximately 14,000 jobs between February and April, and is expected to re-gain 3,000 jobs by the end of the year. In 2021 the SCV is expected to generate 4,000 to 5,000 jobs, at which point half of the jobs lost during the recession will have been recovered.
