Three Harvey Mudd College Seniors, studying in Professor Gayle Blankenburg's piano studio, perform a collection of classical piano works in this special virtual recital. This recital has been a long standing tradition for Professor Blankenburg and she wanted to give her senior 'Mudders' this opportunity at the close of their last year while distance learning. Alison is an English and Music double major at Scripps who has been working with Professor Bill Alves during her tenure as a student to compose this program. The recital will feature a variety of works including an electronic piece, a choral piece performed by the Claremont Concert Choir, a string quartet, a solo vocal piece, and a duet for violin and piano. Thuy-Linh Le, Harvey Mudd College junior majoring in Computer Science and Music, will be performing vocal works composed by Henry Purcell, Gioachino Rossini, and Hugo Wolf on her Junior Voice Recital. She is especially proud to premiere a newly commissioned work based on her own libretto set to music composed by Bosba Panh.
