MARCH 28TH FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISER HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS THREAT. REFUNDS ARE BEING PROCESSED. MANY, MANY THANKS TO THOSE WHO STILL DONATED THE PRICE OF THEIR TICKETS!

You're invited to Fiesta at the Adobe, Saturday April 29 at Noon. Open to all, but must send in reservation by April 24. All proceeds benefit preservation of the historic Adobe and other charitable projects. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit. The Adobe is currently in need of $20,000 worth of repairs [bldg dates back to 1786!] A wonderful chance to check out this charming historical site, which is available for rentals, too.

As president of the International Woman Suffrage Alliance, and later as the president of the National American Woman Suffrage Association, Carrie Chapman Catt s...pearheaded the national fight for the progress of women. She spoke frequently of the meaning of war to the women of the world, showcasing how women expertly filled the positions of men who were off fighting overseas. She was an active member in the club movement, recognizing the strength of organized women, and her work culminated in her organizing the League of Women Voters in 1920. #BecauseOfHer women saw their worth in society and participated in the fight for equality. #WomensHistoryMonth Share stories of clubwomen that have inspired you using the hashtag #BecauseofHer!
